We regard the difficulties as an issue of semantic information management, and propose a novel data model named SEMANTIC OBJECT MODEL. It realizes structural representation of semantic information in databases. The semantic object model comprises three components: semantic objects, semantic relationships, and semantic constraints. Semantic objects represent individual semantic entities. Semantic relationships represent semantics among semantic objects. Semantic constraints manage semantic integrity of a database.
