• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 米国Gain Technology社と共同開発したActivePageは，テキスト，グラフィックス，オーディオ，ビデオ，イメージ，アニメーションなどのマルチメディアを取り扱うことのできる，オブジェクト指向に基づいた，アプリケーションソフトの開発環境である．ActivePageは，マルチメディアプレゼンテーション応用，ハイビジョンシステム応用，オフィスシステム応用など，多方面のシステム開発に利用されている．25の応用事例を調べた結果，3倍から10倍程度の開発効率の向上が確認できた．また，出来上がったアプリケーションの操作性，データ構造などが統一される点も高く評価されている．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: The object-oriented application development software "ActivePage," which was jointly developed with Gain Technology, Inc., combines high quality text, graphics, audio, video, image and animation to build multi-media applications. ActivePage has been used to develop many systems including multi-media presentation applications, high definition TV applications and office applications. The survey or 25 applications developed by using ActivePage reports that ActivePage accelerates application development productivity by 300-1000%. It is also reported that the surveyees are highly recommended the unified application's operations and data structure of ActivePage.
