• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 動画像データベースにおけるシーン検索手法を提案する。動画では静止画における、縦、横の平面に時間軸を加えた空間を持つため、任意のシーンに対する検索を可能とするためには検索キーに時間的な要素を持たせる必要がある。本研究では動画像内に存在するオブジェクトの運動がこの時間的な要素を持つことに注目し、オブジェクトの動きを検索キーとした検索手法を提案する。またこの手法は、その動きを例示を用いてシステムに入力することで、ユーザの意図を柔軟に反映することができる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This paper proposes a method for retrieving scenes in terms of object's motion. Scince video data has the three-dimensional space which is composed of two-dimensional plane and an additional measure for time, it is needed to select a retrieval key having a temporal element so as to make it possible to retrieve any scene in video data. In our research, based on the fact, object's motion existing in the video data has the the temporal element, we propose a retrieval method which uses object's motion as a retrieval key. Here, the object's motion is given to the system by means of illustration, so this method is enabling a flexible representaion of user's intention.
