In this situation, Mimblewimble, an anonymous cryptocurrency protocol which is designed to achieve unlinkability and scalability at the same time, is attracting public attention. However, Mimblewimble has several problems in its messaging at this moment. Therefore, we propose MWmessage, a novel blockchain-based unlinkable messaging system to solve Mimblewimble's messaging problems by extending Mimblewimble itself. In this paper, we first summarize Mimblewimble's architecture, features, and problems in messaging. We next show MWmessage's architecture, which solves the problems. Especially, we focus on the mechanism of message hash to keep the message payload tamper-resistant and the mechanism introducing message expiration time to realize unlinkable messaging without sacrificing Mimblewimble's scalability.
