V. スター東アジア図書館所蔵の写本146冊から成る「家伝集」をデジタル化・公開した．これは，同館が1950年に購入した三井文庫旧蔵資料の一部で，書写年代は19世紀中頃，内容は徳川時代末期までに存続した公家138家のうち135家及び絶家から出た公卿約3,160名に関する系譜資料で，一般的に「諸家伝」と総称される資料の一例である．この論文では，このデジタル資料の国際的な公開を目指す過程で遭遇した問題点と利便性を高めるために行った工夫，および今後のさらなる活用の展望に言及する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: With funding from the Multi-Volume Sets Project managed by the North American Coordinating Council on Japanese Library Resources (NCC), in 2018 the University of California, Berkeley Library digitized Kadenshū consisting of 146 volumes of hand-written manuscripts held by the C. V. Starr East Asian Library. This material was produced in the mid-19th century Japan and acquired by the Library in 1950 as a part of the Mitsui acquisition. It provides biographical information, including appointments and other administrative responsibilities within the imperial court regarding approximately 3,160 senior nobles from 135 kuge families out of all 138 that existed at the end of Tokugawa period—an example of the material generally called Shokeden. In this paper, we discuss problems we encountered in making this resource available to the world, the strategies we took to make it more usable, and possibility of future development.
