By repeatedly executing TLS connections in a Docker Compose environment on the same host and extracting handshake time Ths for each session from captured pcap data, we compared different configurations. Using ED25519 + X25519 as the baseline, we evaluated MLDSA-87 + X25519 (PQC signature only), ED25519 + ML-KEM-1024 (PQC KEM only), and ED25519 + Hybrid (SecP384r1 + ML-KEM-1024) as target configurations. We employed the Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal-Wallis test for difference verification, adjusting for multiple comparisons using Holm correction. Additionally, we assessed effect sizes using Cliff's δ and ε2. Results showed that median handshake times increased by 4.651 ms with ML-DSA-87, 5.072 ms with ML-KEM-1024, and 9.048 ms with Hybrid configuration compared to the baseline. These differences were all statistically significant, with the Hybrid configuration showing the largest latency increase.
