This protocol is designed to prevent AS_PATH manipulations and route leaks, which are difficult to prevent with ROA/ROV. However, even with BGP-iSec, there are still attack and accidents that are difficult to prevent. In this study, we analyze the causes of these issues, comparing it with ASPA.
