Study 3.0)の調査研究の概要について報告する。FS3.0は、スーパーコンピュータ「富岳」の後継となる「富岳NEXT」およびその先の将来を見据え、フラッグシップシステム単体にとどまらず、全国の多様な計算機資源から構成される革新的ハイパフォーマンス・コンピューティング・インフラ(HPCI)全体として、科学技術計算の成果を最大化するための運用システム(計算機)整備計画の策定を目的としている。近年、生成AIに代表される人工知能技術の急速な進展により、計算科学研究は数値シミュレーション中心の利用形態から、AI for Scienceを含むデータ駆動型・自動化型の研究スタイルへと移行しつつある。これに伴い、次世代HPCIには、計算性能の向上に加え、計算機アーキテクチャの多様化、柔軟なシステムソフトウェア基盤、ならびに次世代アプリケーションを支える実行環境が求められている。FS3.0では、計算機アーキテクチャ、システムソフトウェア、次世代アプリケーションの三つの技術領域を対象とし、協調設計(Co-Design)の観点から体系的な調査を行う。また、「富岳NEXT」開発プロジェクトやHAIRDESC等との連携を通じて、実現可能性を重視した将来のHPCI整備方針の整理を進めている。本稿では、調査研究の実施体制と検討方針を示すとともに、HPCI-RB(Reference Blueprint)、HPCI-CB(Continuous Benchmarking)、およびHPCI-CFSP(Continuous FS
