Information-Centric Networking)の通信パラダイム、特に能動的なデータ取得を導入することを検討している。従来の滞留によるプッシュ型データ配信とICNによるプル型データ取得とはそれぞれ利点と欠点を有する。このため、これら二つの通信形態をデータの特性に応じて使い分けることが肝要である。そこで本稿では、データの特性に応じた通信形態の最適割当を検討する。より具体的には、プッシュ型通信およびプル型通信が混在するシステムモデルを記述し、通信形態の割当を最適化問題として定式化する。定式化した最適化問題は通信容量による制約の有無に応じて場合分けされる。まず、通信容量が無限である場合には、最適割当を代数的に導出する。次に、容量制約付き問題に対しては、近似解を求める貪欲アルゴリズムを提案する。また、数値例を通して、データの特性が通信形態の最適割当に与える影響を考察し、通信形態の割当方針を議論する。","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_4_description_8":{"attribute_name":"論文抄録(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"We have proposed a Spatio-Temporal Data-Retention System as a way to disseminate spatio-temporal data within a specific area, aiming to achieve local production and local consumption of data. To improve the efficiency of the proposed system, we consider incorporating the communication paradigm of Information-Centric Networking (ICN), in particular, active data retrieval. Conventional push-based data dissemination with retention and pull-based data retrieval with ICN have their own advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, it is essential to appropriately select the communication mode depending on data properties. In this paper, we investigate the optimal assignment of communication modes according to data properties. Specifically, we describe a system model in which push-based and pull-based communications coexist, and formulate the mode assignment problem as an optimization problem. The formulated optimization problem is categorized depending on whether the communication capacity is constrained or not. First, under the assumption of unlimited communication capacity, we derive the optimal assignment analytically. Then, for the capacity-constrained case, we propose a greedy algorithm to obtain an approximate solution.
