Furthermore, we constructed a classifier using linear discriminant analysis to automatically categorize classical Chinese texts into Chinese classical texts written in China (original Chinese texts), Seikaku Kanbun (formal Kanbun), and Hentai Kanbun (deviant Kanbun). Based on an analysis of 41 classical Chinese texts, the classifier achieved an overall classification accuracy of over 70%, and the accuracy for distinguishing between original Chinese texts and Seikaku Kanbun exceeded 80%. Furthermore, the analysis revealed that the primary difference in the use of function characters between Hentai Kanbun and both original Chinese texts and Seikaku Kanbun lies in the frequency of function characters related to honorific expressions.
