Because relationships between variants of Chinese characters are highly context-dependent, their machine-readable description also requires a machine-readable description of the context information. We therefore propose a bibliography ontology that can be referenced by bibliography ID used as domain name/source ID used in features of CHISE. We also discuss the correspondence between each entry of historical Chinese character dictionaries and the corresponding triple in a character ontology, based on the concept of natural transformation in category theory.
