We annotated 1,678 scenes drawn from seven Manga Taisho award-winning works with four category sets that capture different aspects of background histories. An inter-annotator reliability study was conducted in which 15 participants independently labeled 37 scenes; Van Someren et al.'s κ for all four category sets―counting first- and second-choice labels―was ≥ 0.68, indicating substantial agreement. In addition, we compiled a dataset of 142 background-history chains, each representing the sequence of narrative events leading to a character's acceptance of their past. Clustering the chains yielded seven typologies―Recovery, Relief, Declaration, Sympathy, Encouragement, Reflection, and Lesson―and we compared the distribution of background-history categories across these types. Exploratory factor analysis identified 12 latent factors, revealing patterns in how multiple background-history elements co-occur within a single scene.}, pages = {202--216}, title = {一致度検証と類型分析に基づく背景史包含型物語の生成基盤構築}, volume = {67}, year = {2026} }
