Targeting learners with diverse backgrounds, we adopted an approach that allows them to manually experience processes that machines normally perform automatically. For text generation with N-gram language models, learners step-by-step perform probability calculations and word selection, while for iris species classification with manual decision boundary setting, they conduct data observation and boundary configuration.
