of Functions(IoF)」という用語で表現する.IoF世界では,これまで人体を1つのエンティティとしてとらえることで成り立っていたセキュリティ技術に関しても,パーツ(機能)単位でとらえる必要が生じる.人体のパーツ化は,セキュリティ技術に光(新セキュリティメカニズムが実現可能となる)と影(アタックサーフェスが増加する)の両側面の影響を及ぼすが,本論文はその第1報として,新たなIoFセキュリティメカニズムの検討を通じてIoF世界の促進に資する.特に,パスワード認証をパーツ単位でとらえた場合,新たな3つのセキュリティメカニズムが実現可能である.本論文では,新たな3つのセキュリティメカニズムの1つである「外部記憶パーツを用いたパスワード長の増大」に関して詳細に議論する.その一実現形態としてEMS(電気的筋肉刺激)を利用したチャレンジレスポンス型パスワード認証を提案し,攻撃者モデルやそれらの攻撃に対する安全性を検討する.さらに,提案方式の実現可能性を探るため5名の実験協力者による初期実験を実施し,その実現可能性を評価する.","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_2_description_8":{"attribute_name":"論文抄録(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"In the past, the human body was often regarded as a black box. However, advancements in technology have allowed us to understand the body by viewing the body as a system composed of distinct organs. Progress has already been made in unraveling the brain and our five senses, enabling communication through BMI (Brain-Machine Interface) and share feelings with others. In the near future, we might be able to control each part of our bodily functions, including the brain, memory, senses, organs, and even cells. These functions could be modularized as APIs, allowing each function to be easily accessed and used. We call this technology innovation the “Internet of Functions (IoF).” In the context of IoF, conventional security technologies, designed under the assumption of the body as a single unified entity, will need to be restructured by considering each part of the body separately. The modularization of the human body brings both light and shadow to security technologies-it enables new security mechanisms while also increasing the attack surface. This paper serves as an initial report that focuses on its light side and aims to contribute IoF advancement by exploring new security mechanisms. Especially in the realm of password authentication, viewing the body as a collection of parts will lead to three new security mechanisms. This paper focuses on one of these new mechanisms: Password Length Extension Using External Memory Parts. One possible implementation is to use EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) for a challenge-response password authentication.
