 note = {1990年代にインターネットの普及が始まると，大学では情報コンセントや無線LANの整備が始まり，利用者が学内移動しながらインターネットを利用できる環境が必要とされた．本研究会でも様々な仕組みが発表された．Opengateは，佐賀大学が開発したCaptive Portalの一種である．Opengateは，統合認証システムとともに，佐賀大学の情報基盤の中核であり，機能の改善を繰り返した．しかし，802.1X認証の普及とともに，Opengateはその役割を終え，終息フェーズに入っている．本講演では，Opengateの開発と運用の歴史を振り返り，今後の情報基盤のあり方について考える．, With the spread of the Internet in the 1990s, universities began to implement network sockets and wireless LANs, for environments where users could access the Internet while moving around campus. Various solutions were presented at this workshop. Opengate is a type of captive portal developed by Saga University. Together with the integrated authentication system, Opengate became a core part of Saga University's IT infrastructure and underwent repeated improvements. However, with the widespread adoption of 802.1X authentication, Opengate has fulfilled its role and is now in its end-of-life phase. In this talk, I will look back on the history of Opengate's development and operation, and consider the future of IT infrastructure.},
