We have confirmed that Starlink, one of the typical low earth orbit satellite communication systems, may have a buffer for handover handover handover. The buffer may prevent packet loss due to handover. On the other hand, it may cause an increase in delay and jitter, and the effect of buffers at intermediate nodes in low earth orbit satellite communications is still unclear.
