Although the Jaccard Index is simple and computationally efficient, it has the problem of not being able to distinguish between the frequency of occurrence and importance of elements. In this study, we propose an “Entropy Weighted Jaccard Index” by introducing entropy based on the probability of occurrence of elements as weights.
