Some of these problems require people to transform their behavior. Although economic incentives are a common way to encourage behavior transformation, resources are usually limited. To further promote behavior transformation with limited resources, it can be combined with non-economic behavior transformation methods that do not rely on monetary rewards, such as nudges and gamification. By combining them, we can expect to gain interaction, but the following two points need to be considered from the characteristics of economic incentives: 1) since incentives have high utility, it will be difficult to obtain and verify a synergistic effect if the amount is extremely large or small, 2) the order in which incentives are presented is important because there is an anchoring effect in which the first value presented becomes the standard and subsequent effects are reduced. Therefore, in this paper, we propose an experimental design method that measures the appropriate amount of economic incentives to combine and then verifies the effectiveness of non-economic behavior transformation methods.
