One such problem that includes a structure not yet represented as a Hamiltonian is the combinatorial puzzle game Makaro. In this research, we propose a method to transform Makaro into a Hamiltonian and solve it using Quantum annealing. Furthermore, we prove the validity of the Hamiltonian. In addition, to verify the effectiveness of our method, we performed computational experiments using a real Quantum annealing machine and a hybrid classical-quantum solver. Experimental results showed that current Quantum annealing machines lack the performance to solve only extremely small-scale problems, and are unable to solve other problems. Also, the hybrid solver was able to solve all the problems.
