Methods that utilize technologies such as Ultra-Wide-Band (UWB) to obtain distance information between user devices and estimate positions based on this data have gained attention. This approach offers advantages over conventional positioning systems that rely solely on fixed beacons, as it can reduce the number of beacons required for installation. However, there are still many challenges, such as data tampering by malicious users, sensor malfunctions, and decreased positioning accuracy due to environmental factors. For example, in location-based events like stamp rallies, users could send false location information to claim rewards without physically visiting the locations. In fact, in location-based games like Ingress and Pok´emon Go, player location spoofing has become a significant issue. This study aims to enhance the reliability of location information in large-scale indoor events where an unspecified number of people gather. The proposed method verifies the consistency of multiple positioning data using smart contracts, eliminating false or inaccurate information. By utilizing distributed ledger technology, we aim to build a system resistant to manipulation by centralized authorities and fraudulent behavior among users.
