Two devices with B.A.T.M.A.N. installed can use their wireless LAN interfaces to construct a wireless LAN mesh network conforming to the IEEE802.11s standard. This wireless LAN mesh network can be used as a backbone to expand the coverage of the network. In this study, B.A.T.M.A.N. was installed on multiple Raspberry Pis to construct a wireless LAN mesh network. The performance of the expanded mesh network was evaluated by measuring the throughput of this network using iperf3 while changing the conditions of time, number of nodes, and distance.
