Because of its lightweight and loosely coupled nature derived from the Pub/Sub model, MQTT is expected to be applied to large-scale applications, disaster prevention systems, smart factories, connected cars, etc. In such applications, the IoT data exchanged is diverse. The IoT data exchanged in such applications is becoming increasingly diverse. Some applications handle large data, such as high-resolution images, while others use small data, such as temperature. Therefore, the ability to handle heterogeneous data is important to realize collaboration among various applications and sensors through MQTT.
