However, the Border Gateway Protocol ( BGP ), which is commonly used for Inter-AS routing, has limitations in achieving optimal routing control tailored to these requirements. To address this challenge, this study proposes a Traffic Engineering (TE) approach using Segment Routing (SR) to enable optimal routing control across multiple ASes.
