In such areas, satellite constellation services using LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellites, such as SpaceX's Starlink, can be expected to be used. It has been, however, reported that Starlink has fixed 15-second intervals (12, 27, 42, and 57 seconds per minute) at which communication breakdowns occur. On the other hand, our measurements have confirmed that packet loss does not necessarily occur every 15 seconds. The characteristics of communication breakdowns in starlinks are, therefore, unclear.
