• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: Z39.50は欧米を中心に開発されてきた経緯から、検索式を扱う言語仕様の面で国際化が遅れている。加えて、国内で使用されているJPmarcと呼ばれる目録規則が、そのベースとなっているUNImarcと互換性を欠くなどの理由から、これまでZ39．50で日本語書誌目録をネイティブに扱った事例は存在しなかった。しかし、この分野で欧米の取り組みが進み、OPACによる所蔵状況の検索と、これに続く貸借業務(ILL)を連携することで、検索から貸し出しまでの一連の処理をネットワーク経由で電子的に処理する方向へ進化しつつある。本稿では、Z39.50で利用されている主なレコード構文の機能を説明し、Z39.50でJPmarcレコードを扱うための試作システムと課題、Z39.50と連携する機能として代表的なILLシステムの役割について考察する。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Z39.50 specification is chiefly developed in United States and Europe. The internationalization about multilingual specifications in expression of query terms have not been developed a little. And because JPmarc specification which is used in Japan is not compatible with UNImarc on which JPmarc is based, until now there have been not any case that Japanese bibliographic item catalogue is directly dealed on Z39.50. On the other hand this field is being progressed in United States and Europe, and a series of processes from Search to Interlibrary Loan are going to be archived in electronic forms by OPAC/Holding search and the following Interlibrary Loan (ILL) processes. This paper explains some facilities of main record syntaxes on Z39.50 and reports a discussion about that prototype systems and their subjects to deal with JPmarc records on Z39.50, and a role of ILL systems which mainly interact with systems based on Z39.50.
