• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: インターネット上での電子商取引(EC)は、製品や顧客データなどの大量のXMLデータを使用して行われる。こうした応用を柔軟に記述するためには、Eビジネスモデル、特にそのビジネスプロセスをモデル化する言語が必要である。すなわち、ECのさまざまなサービスを実現するため、Eビジネスモデルで中心となるデータの必要部分のみをアクセスしたり、複数のデータソースをまとめて、あらたなデータを作り出す機能が必要である。本報告では、インターネット上でXMLデータベースを利用するビジネスモデルの記述に対して、問い合わせ言語のアプローチを提案し、その有効性を論じる。

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: Electronic Commerce (EC) business models like e-brokers on the Internet use a large number of XML data such as product and customer data. To flexibly model such applications, we need a modeling language for EC businesses, specifically, business processes. First, as business process specification, we must allow users to retrieve only necessary portions of XML data centric in business models by specifying flexible search conditions. Second, we must allow users to combine XML data from different sources to produce new XML data for EC services. To this end, we have adopted a query language approach to modeling and have designed a query language for XML, suitable for supporting EC business models. In this paper, we discuss the needs for an XML query language for supporting EC business models and explain its functionality and validate its usability by specifying e-broker business models. We also discuss its applicability to other business models.
