画像を用いた画像誘導穿刺として,CT ガイド下穿刺が利用されている.CT 画像は,体のどの部位についても範囲にほぼ制限なく画像を取得できる.このため,CT ガイド下穿刺は,体内のすべての部位にあるターゲットに対して理論上は穿刺可能である.しかし,現在の CT ガイド下穿刺における課題として,穿刺可能な範囲が限定される点,および医師が事前に決定した穿刺経路の有効性を医師自身で判断できない点が挙げられる.そこで,本研究では,CT ガイド下穿刺における穿刺経路の選択手法を提案する.提案手法では,ボリュームレンダリング技術で 3D 化した CT 画像を用いて,骨,血管,および臓器といった体内で穿刺不可能な領域を判別する.また,穿刺不可能な領域と交わらない線分のうち,穿刺の開始位置からターゲットまでの距離が一番短い経路である最短経路,穿刺不可能な領域からの距離が一番遠い経路である安全経路,および最短経路と安全経路の情報に基づく最適経路をそれぞれ導出する.実際の患者の CT
