A centralized system such as the phone network does not resist the overload due to disasters, but a distributed system such as P2P is more robust. To be relevant, safety information should be up-to-date; this is why we chose the Pure-P2P system. However, retrieval on the Pure-P2P network is not efficient because repeated broadcasting increases network load.
