• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 平成 30 年度の博士号学位取得者 （工学） の就職内訳において正規雇用職員として採用されたのは約 55% であり学位取得者の厳しい就職状況が浮き彫りになっている．修士課程卒業者の正規雇用職員採用率が約 90% であることと比較するとその原因が学位取得にあることはあきらかである．一方，新卒春入社のルール廃止，政府主導の 「働き方改革」 導入など社員の即戦力化を要求する欧米化社会システムへの遷移などが取りざたされるようになった．若者が高齢者を支えるといったこれまでの社会システムでは少子高齢化の現代社会を支えられないのも事実である．また，機械学習など情報技術の社会利用が第 4 次産業革命として始まっており，ホワイトカラー層を中心とする職種への影響が懸念されるなど，社会における人材に関する考え方が劇的に変化しようとしている．博士号取得者の位置づけは今後の日本社会でどのように変化していくのか．本論では現状を整理し今後の方向性を考察する．またその上で博士号の種別，学術論文の位置づけと論文の査読ポイントなど博士号取得に向けた実践的な手法についても概説する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: According to Announcement on FY2018 School Basic Survey, only about 55% of the people who have doctoral degrees (engineering) could get jobs as permanent employees. This shows that to be hired as a regular employee is very difficult for them. Meanwhile, about 90% of the Master' s degree holders were hired as regular employees. From this data, it is clear holding a doctoral degree decreases employment opportunities. Under these circumstances, we hear a lot about abolishing the policy of simultaneous recruiting of new graduates or about 'work-style reforms' initiated by the Japanese government, which means the transition to a Western social system that requires employees who have immediate fighting strength. It is true the current social system under which young people support the elderly can not maintain this aging society with fewer children. In addition, social use of information technology such as machine learning has started as the 4th industrial revolution, and there are concerns it might have some impact on white-collar workers. As a whole, our basic idea of human resources has been changing dramatically. How will the position of doctoral degree holders change in Japan? This thesis will clarify the current situation and provide the future direction. Further more, it will outline practical methods for obtaining doctoral degree, explaining the type of doctoral degree, the position of academic papers and the review point of the them.
