（多剤耐性菌） が出現し，世界的な問題となっている．耐性菌に関する様々な研究が行われる中，細菌が耐性を獲得する過程で形態が変化することが明らかとなってきた．どのような遺伝子の変化により細菌の形態が変化するかは生物学的に興味深い問題であるが，いまだに解明されていない．形態変化と遺伝子の関係を解明するためには，細菌株の形態の違いを定量的に評価する必要がある．本稿では，細菌株の形態の違いを識別する課題に取り組み，識別結果を解析することで各株間の相違点を明らかにする．各株間の形態学的な特徴は，外膜の形状や細菌内の異染小体 （顆粒） の有無等に表れているが，外膜部分の像が不明瞭なものも多く，細菌の輪郭を抽出することは難しい．また，試料作製における固定や染色の影響により，同じ株の細菌であっても見え方が大きく異なる場合がある．そこで，電子顕微鏡画像データのばらつきに頑健な畳み込みニューラルネットワーク (CNN) を提案する．また GradCAM を用いた CNN
