名の従業員を対象に，携帯型心電計によって勤務時間中の心電図を計測し，そこから得られた心拍変動解析結果と，職場のストレス，コミュニケーション，精神的身体的負荷に関する質問紙に対する応答との関連を分析した．職務に関する裁量性が高いと感じている人ほど，就労中の R - R 間隔の標準偏差，心拍変動の超低周波数 (0.0033 - 0.4 Hz) および低周波数 (LF，0.04 - 0.15 Hz) 成分の振幅が低く，職場における葛藤が多く，疲労度が高く，上司や同僚とのコミュニケーションが不良と感じている人ほど，LF 成分の振幅とその標準偏差 (LFsd) が高かった．質問紙に対する応答の因子分析の結果，それぞれ，ストレス，抑うつ，疲労を反映すると考えられる 3 因子が抽出され，それらの中で，疲労に関する因子のスコアと，LF 成分の振幅および LFsd
