世代を模した 5 人を 1 チェーンとして配置し，独立にコンピュータ上で再生されるメロディーを 1 人ずつ視聴して，できる限り正確に再現することを求める課題を実施した．画面上に色の違う 7 つのボタンが横一列に表示されるプログラムをインタフェイスとして作成し，1 人目は無作為に生成された 14 音からなるメロディーを視聴 ・ 再現，2 人目以降は 1 世代前の参加者による再現結果を視聴 ・ 再現した．その結果，最終世代の再現結果では，第 1
