Previously we have proposed a localization algorithm utilizing multiple microphone arrays to find the 2D locations of sound sources. The method focused on applying sound source directions obtained from each array in the triangulation approach. An outlier removal algorithm was also proposed to distinguish between noise sources and actual sound sources. Although, the presented results were promising, a throughout evaluation is necessary.
