To enable distributed retrieval on multiple PostgreSQL servers with the current technology, data are distributed into PEs based on statically settled values. There has been no challenges using any distributed index which can dynamically change data distribution for retrieving data using index. We consider a retrieving function for data distributed on multiple PEs using a Fat-Btree, a parallel B-tree structure. We implement a part of it and perform experiments.
