Such network connected home appliances send packets according to their usage. The packets are used for making lives of people at home more comfortable and more convenient, for saving power, etc.On the other hand, if a malicious third party acquires and analyzes the in-house traffic, there is a possibility of identifying the user and obtaining personal information such as hobbies and preferences.
