Examples include a tracking cookie for realizing behavior management advertisement, introduction of geolocation API to HTML5 for obtaining user location information, and so on. Thus some uses are de nite, others are in a complexly intertwined ecosystem. So there are some that are difficult to understand purpose at  rst glance.
