This paper describes techniques to run HPL, which is a parallel Linpack implementation, on the TSUBAME system efficiently, and evaluates the performance. The techniques include sharing heterogeneous computing resources among fine grained processes, and using asynchronous communications. Through the evaluation of the system with the modified HPL, we have observed 47.38TFlops, which is the world's fastest Linpack performance on heterogeneous systems.
