Along with language ability and problem discovery / resolution ability, information utilization ability is specified as "qualities / abilities as the foundation of learning". The importance of information and informatics education is increasing more than the current course of study for elementary and secondary schools. In this paper, the deliberations related to information and informatics education from the consultation of the Central Council for Education to the next course of study based on the progress are reported.},
