The initial values of the parameters in the optimization process is crucial in solving the problem. Thus the direct application of the non-linear optimization process has not been fully used in shape recovery. In this paper, first, we investigate an initialization method, which is very simple and relatively generic to the entire shape recovery problem. Then, we propose a method for restoring the optimization process from a local minimum.
