Particularly, deaf-based deafblind people who have suffered vision impairment after hearing impairment are likely to be limited to tactile sign language and signed alphabets etc. However, since, unlike Braille, which can electronically output from PC, these means of communication necessitates human assistance for tactile output, it is extremely difficult to acquire information independently, which is one of the major factors that reduce the quality of life (QOL) of deafblind people.
