In this system the persistency of virtual reality objects is realized. The block-world database system allows for a user to enter the block-world database so that he/she can see blocks by their own eyes, and by attaching a data glove on a hand he/she can touch, grasp, move, release a block as well as compose two locks. A gesture language is designed and implemented for that purpose. In order to represent the real world as faithful as we can, an interference check algorithm among blocks and a free-falling algorithm of a block are implemented.
