But teachers in secondary education face an unstable environment due to the lack of total quality management in this field. The purpose of this article is to restructure computer generated art and design education in upper secondary schools in Japan. This paper describes the defining of two subjects; Creative Multimedia and Film and Media Art. These subjects are designed for high school students in art and design courses to learn the fundamental principles and methodologies.
