内容記述 Recent advances in data analysis techniques have been attracting an increasing amount of attention from industry persons who operate complex social infrastructures. In this paper, we present our experience of using mathematical programming techniques to achieve an energy efficient operation in a large-scale water distribution network. Our study includes mainly two problems. The first problem is how we achieve a stable water supply in the face of uncertain water demand with avoiding an occurrence of a water failure. The second problem is how we determine both a water distribution and a pump operation planning simultaneously to remove unnecessary energy consumption. To address these problems, we propose mathematical optimization solution under physical and operational constraints, which results in stable water supply and fine-grain pump operation. Finally, through a large-scale real water distribution network, we demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method in terms of energy consumption.
