• 論文抄録 / 内容記述: 本講演では，国際会議 EMNLP 2016 の参加報告として，会議全体の様子を紹介するとともに，研究発表の中から特に対話システムに関する研究の紹介を行う．近年の対話システム研究は，発話選択型のアプローチと発話生成型のアプローチに分けられるが，いずれにおいても深層学習を用いた手法が盛んに研究されており，本会議においてもいくつかの研究発表があった．また，いずれも対話と深い関わりのあるテーマであった 3 件の招待講演についても，今後の対話システム研究の展望に関する知見を交えて紹介する．

• 論文抄録(英) / 内容記述: This report introduces an overview of the international conference EMNLP 2016 with a focus on dialogue system research. The research papers regarding dialogue systems in EMNLP 2016 include response selection methods and response generation methods that make use of deep learning techniques, which attract a lot of attention in recent years. The report also introduces the three invited talks, which gave some insights on the future direction of dialogue system research
