is becoming more and more important for the purpose of privacy protection, and k-anonymization in particular is actively studied. Various k-anonymization algorithms such as MDAV and VMDAV are proposed, but they are not necessarily optimal for numerical data from the viewpoint of information loss. In this paper, we propose a method for minimizing information loss, while preserving k-anonymity, of the partition of dataset obtained by these algorithms. We implement the algorithm, apply it to several datasets and evaluate the results. In many cases where the remainder after dividing the number of data by k is large, the information loss of MDAV and VMDAV can be reduced by our algorithm.
