2016 年 4 月に障害者差別解消法が施行され，障害者に対する社会的障壁をいかに取り除くかを考えることは社会の急務となっている．学習障害の一種であるディスレクシアという障害をもつ人々は，文字言語の認知に困難を抱えており，これは動画視聴の際，字幕により外国語や映像内の状況を理解しなければならない場合も同様である．そこでその心理的負担を軽減するため，映像共有サービス You Tube を用いて，動画に付属している字幕を多様な合成音声で読み上げることで理解を助けるシステムを提案し，Web ブラウザで動作するプロトタイプ実装した．また同障害を持つ当事者，また保護者を対象に実際に字幕を音声合成で読み上げることが有効であるのかどうか国内最大規模の評価実験を実施した結果，有効性が確かめられた． |

The April in 2016, the Japan government came to enforce the Disability Discrimination Act. Since then, it has been our urgent task to how to remove the social barriers. Dyslexia is one of the learning disability, and it causes the disability of visual identification of words and languages. When the dyslexics watch the online movies, they have difficulty understanding the foreign language and the situation with subtitles. In order to reduce the mental burden for them, we propose the online system, which helps the dyslexics by reading out the subtitling in a variety of synthetic voices with YouTube. The system is equipped with the prototype on web browser. As the results of the evaluation experiment for the dyslexics and their guardians, the effectiveness of this system is also verified. |
