Sounds are generated based on objects detected from a hand-drawn sketch. The former system used simple features of shapes selected from a small number of samples, and it was difficult to recognize objects that have many variations. In this paper, we apply a machine learning method to recognize hand-drawn objects, which uses common features detected from a large number of samples. The improved system could recognize hand-drawn objects more accurately and stably than the former system.
