年 4 月より Bluetooth Low Energy（BLE） ビーコンを用いた位置推定により打刻が行えるシステムの運用を開始した．このシステムは，スマートフォンなどの端末で学内の BLE ビーコンを受信し，その電波強度に基づきサーバで端末の場所を推定し，その場所として打刻するものである．このシステムを実現するため，全教室をはじめ学内のあらゆる場所に BLE ビーコン発信器を約 1,600 台設置した．本稿では，この打刻システムの概要および従来の打刻システムから改善した点を述べ，運用開始から現在までの打刻数やユーザ数をまとめる．また，これまでの利用実績から本システムの利用率が全学生数の 1 localization-based attendance check system using BLE beacons and launched it on April 2016. The system enables our students to send attendance check wherever a device (such as a smartphone) can receive BLE beacons. Online BLE localization server estimates position of a device by using BLE beacons and their received signal strength indicator (RSSI). To achieve localization-based attendance check at each lecture room, we have installed about 1600 BLE beacon emitters in our campus. In this paper, we show an outline of the localization-based attendance check system, improvements from current attendance check system and statistics of the system since it was launched.
