(以下,端末) において,画面内のターゲットの選択はタッチにより行われる.しかしタッチによる選択の際に画面が指によって遮蔽されるオクルージョンが発生する.そのため,タッチするターゲットは十分に大きくなければならない.このオクルージョンが発生する問題に対し本研究においては,端末の背面空間にて手を動かすことによるターゲット選択手法を示す.提案手法は,端末の背面カメラにより検出した手の位置に応じて画面上にポインタを表示する.また,ユーザは親指を曲げる操作により選択を行う.端末の背面空間にてターゲット選択操作を行うためオクルージョンが発生しない.また,画面上に表示されたポインタにより選択対象が明確にわかるため,ユーザは小さなターゲットであっても容易に選択することが可能である.提案手法の性能を調べるためターゲット選択精度および作業負荷を評価する実験を行った.結果,提案手法は従来のタッチによる選択よりもエラー率が低く,タッチによる選択が困難なターゲットサイズ (1.9mm×1.9mm) においても選択することが可能であることが分かった.また,提案手法をバーチャルリアリティ環境におけるターゲット選択手法として応用し,その環境下における選択精度評価を行った.結果,7.7mm×7.7mm のターゲットを
