So, falsification detection ciphers have attracted, because they can realize both authentication and encryption simultaneously. Minalpher is one of the most popular falsification detection ciphers. Regarding the hardware security, the risk of power analysis is pointed out. However, power analysis for Minalpher has not been reported. Therefore, this study proposes a new power analysis method for Minalpher.
